Easter Biscuit Baking
For Prison Fellowship Australia
The Challenge
To bake 61,000 homemade biscuits
The Cause
To share God’s love with every inmate in Victoria this Easter
The Call
to bake and deliver nut-free biscuits to one of these locations.
PlentyLife has supported this opportunity for ministry and connection for a number of years. This year the Local Initiatives Action Group would like to encourage people in our congregation to host your own Easter Biscuit Bake.
- Plan a time: a morning, afternoon or evening before the 6 April
-
Arrange a place suitable: your home, someone else’s home, a neighbourhood centre, school, campsite…..
- Invite: your neighbours, friends, a couple of families, your children’s friends to cook biscuits with you
- Recipes: Here are some suggestions. And here is a recipe for ANZAC biscuits! If you make the biscuits more than a week ahead, please consider freezing them
-
Support: These will be available each Sunday morning at Church
sealed disposable containers: 4L ice-cream containers will be available to put the biscuits in if you need them
index cards: will be available to clearly label containers with ingredients and the number of biscuits in the container
- Delivery: The flyer has drop off places and times or you may bring them ready for delivery to Church on 6 April
