Hear from and support others as they share their stories too.

- Commence with an acknowledgement of the traditional owners of the land on which we gather
- Introduction to a simple creative art & craft activity through which group members can tell parts of their story, as they feel comfortable.
- Engage in the art & craft activity
- Participants are invited to share their creative efforts and the benefits of the activity, as they feel comfortable.
- Participants have a place to share part of their story through creative activities, and feel heard, as well as be able to support others as they share their story too.
- Boost 4 Me is provided by Plentylife Anglican Church volunteers whose hope and prayer is that everyone involved receives a boost in life from the time spent together.
We welcome all who want to participate. We do ask those that come to be respectful and sensitive to other people as they share their stories.
Sometimes people may do joint activities with families, some parents and children, friendship groups or other combinations. Activities can be done individually and jointly.
All volunteers are trained in Child Safe standards, however we ask that parents be responsible for their children and be present with them during the activities.
We want the atmosphere of the group to be one where people are free to share any aspects of faith and/or spirituality that are important to them.
The volunteers from Plentylife Anglican Church seek to live authentic Christian lives. When sharing their creative activities, they may or may not share these elements as part of their story.
Group members are free to share or not to share faith/spiritual elements that are important to them.
Mostly the group will meet at Mill Park All Abilities Play Space.
The activities chosen will generally be appropriate for the weather. i.e on windy days, this will be considered. If the weather is poor then an alternative venue will be arranged. People can choose to be on an email list to be notified if this is the case.
The volunteers want to meet people where they gather. Also, the park is a place where we believe we can be creative. It also a positive and energising environment which is consistent with the aims of the group.
